Just wanted to show you guys the new little Spyderco I bought from New Graham. I dont have any Spyderco knives, or any knives with these new "super steels" and as soon as I saw one of these available, I had to get it. I've always liked the Caly Jr. but they're hard to come by.

My first impression of the knife was that it was a bit smaller than I imagined. Thats not a bad thing. I loved it as soon as I saw it.

I opened it with my thumb, and it was smooth as butter. Felt the edge and got scared to death. This knife has to be one of the sharpest factory knives ever.

The knife is super lightweight, and feels like it was made for my hand.

I am extremely happy with my purchase, and extremely happy with New Graham knives. They will get my business from now on.

Nice! Looks better than the tiny pictures you see on web sites. I still can't decide if I want to wait and spend the $150 on the CF model or just go and get this baby! I can't wait to try out the ZDP-189

Very nice knife. I've spent to just about my limit, yet I'm on the verge of ordering one of these.

wobble...hmm. Actually, yes it does. Never noticed that. Doesnt bother me or make me love the knife any less though.

I've been playing with this thing all day. I barely notice it in my pocket, and it's just as sharp as a scalpel. I love it.

Mine wobbles when closed, but is rock solid when open. It is actually one of the most solid, as far as no blade play when open, knives I have, so the wobble when closed doesn't bother me. I also only plan to use it for light duty stuff. It would seem like the pivot pin should be tighter, as when I pinch the pivot area the rocking goes away, but the rock solid lockup makes me think it isn't a major functional problem. I am watching the thread in the Spyderco forum to see what the company's response will be, but it isn't really a big issue to me now, as I'm just enjoying the knife and it seems very solid when cutting.

I got my Spyderco Calypso Jr. ZDP-189 yesterday from KnifeWorks. It is an awesome blade. Scary sharp. The only thing I don't like is the tip down carry. I just can't draw it a quick as I would like. All my other knives are tip up.
