I know this isn't the Spyderco forum, but I thought I'd share some interesting pics with you all here. There were two Spyderco fixed blades mentioned in this thread about River knives:

Sorry I don't have a pic to post here. I have learned that these are going to be Aqua Salts, and I am keenly interested in getting my hands on one. Or two. In addition to the Aqua Salt, here are a couple more that may or may not be of interest to folks here:

Jerry Hossum Woodlander:

A nifty Ed Schempp design:

And a dive-type knife:

I have always been a Spyderco fan, but it has been a while since I have purchased anyhting Spyderco. The new fixed blades that they may be offering really has gotten me excited. Enjoy.

I saw the Woodlanders all over from 4.75" to 9" on Savsonswords site.

Anyone know the thickness?

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrghhhhhhh!! They look like kichen knives, Spyder should stick to what it's good at:original folders.

There was a post in the spyderco forum a few weeks ago, can't find it at the moment. It comes in a few sizes apparently.

I don't know what the thicknesses of the Hossoms are, but the lengths are:
Forester 9-1/8 blade 15-9/16 oal
Forager 7-1/2 blade 14 oal
Woodlander 6-3/32 blade 12-5/8 oal
Dayhiker 4-3/4 blade 10-1/2 oal

I have had a chance to handle these at the Spyderco Factory Outlet store and all I can say is WOW. When I picked up the Forester, all I could think about was chopping something. They all are very nice, but I am leaning to the Forgager for a camp knife. I don't think that you could go wrong with any of these.

I really like that woodlander but want to get ahold of the Forester. the 2nd one does nothing for me.

nice...anyone know the MSRP's? Spyderco is usually pretty reasonable, unless they are aimed at the high end of the market spyderco buyers who will just "have" to have one....
