Hi all. This is my first post. I have lurked here for a good while, figured I'd finally introduce myself.

I have always carried a cheap Walmart knife in the past. A couple years ago, I decided I wanted something nicer, and discovered Spyderco. I ended up purchasing the Endura. And absolutely loved it. Within 2 weeks, I bought a Delica for my other pocket.

Since then, I have purchased the Endura wave, and moved up to the Manix 2. I ended up carrying that for a good while, and decided I wanted to purchase another Spyderco. I went to the Gun & Knife show to check them out, feel the different models in my hand. I just couldn't make up my mind. And so the knife dealer, who is VERY reputable in my area, made it for me. He handed me the Paramilitary 2, and told me that's THE one. It was instant love. :)

Since then, I have bought the Manix 2 XL. And have even bought 2 Zero Tolerance 0350's. But I always keep a Spyderco in my pocket. A Delica in my left pocket, and the PM2 is usually in the right.

I'm a big fan of Spyderco. The quality is awesome, and the price is great for the everyday person.

Welcome!!
The Endura was my gateway.
fwiw- After years of buying folders, a Spyderco is usually what I EDC.

Welcome! Glad to hear. :D
I say almost the same thing, daily, after I get done using one of the Spyderco models I have chosen to carry for that particular day...
I am a person everyday, and the quality is indeed awesome at a great price! :p

Repeat amazement.

Your PM2/Delica combo is a great choice, too!

Hi Mwilli,

Welcome to our forum and thanx for the interest and support.

I keep thinking, "Yes, this is THE ONE," when it comes to finding my dream Spyderco, and then I hold or use another one, and the love affair starts all over again.

Lucky for us, Spyderco has many, many options to keep our love affair going on a weekly, if not daily basis. I love the workmanship, durability, selection, support, and history behind Spyderco. Customer and fan for life, and still on the hunt for the one that I'd carry every day for the rest of my life!

Welcome to the forum mwilli. I'm new here myself and also a recently bitten by the Spyderco bug. My first purchase was a grey delica and, like you, I was instantly won over by the quality, attention to detail and most of all the blade. Sal really does build his knives from the edge out. My last purchase was a satin and camo pm2 and, though I'm sure I'll buy another Spyderco eventually, the pm2 is definitely THE knife for me.

Welcome. The Manix 2 and Native 5 are my personal favorites. There's just something about Spydercos that keep you coming back.

Welcome to Bladeforums and this awesome subforum! If you like gentleman's folders, I encourage you to try the Sage 1. Its quality is akin to that seen on knives several times its price, and it's just plain beautiful as well as a mean cutter. There's also the Paramilitary 2, a favorite of most who have tried it. The perfect EDC.
