Thought you might enjoy the latest photo I made this morning. 4" AUS-8 blade, micarta scales, very nice leather sheath. Take care.

Thanks for the pic, Fred. I'm glad to see that these finally made it out into distribution. IMO, Mike Sastre & Eric Noeldechen are going to be kept busy making Concealex rigs for these.

I don't think they've actually shipped yet, but soon. This one is just my collector club unit. The collector club members now know what's coming next week. Take care.

1. It says "Spyderco" on it
2. It's a tanto

this my friends is a match made in heaven, and hopefully more affordable than the Lum Tanto Folders.

Hmmm... looks like it will do quite well in the reverse grip. Fred, is the 4" the total exposed blade length or the sharpened edge only?

The knife looks nice, but that sheath sure doesn't look to be very "Lefty-friendly" :(.

Dann, if I bought that knife my first priority would be to get a good Kydex sheath for it... I hate leather sheaths.

MSRP should be around $200. I'm not sure. A little pricey in my opinion but it is a first class knife. Street price will be under $150. The blade is a hair over 4" measured from handle edge to tip. I just rounded it to 4". This is only the second fixed blade from Spyderco other than the two Morans. I don't know why they didn't do Kydex. Perhaps that was the designer's preference. Again, I don't know but it would have been a more effective product with Kydex. I agree there. Take care.
