New Spyderco multi tool ?

Sal ,

I keep hearing rumors as to Spyderco developing a new different multi tool . Is it true and if so is there any projection as to when it will become available ?
I am a great fan of the Spyderench and have all three variations and am looking forward to new developments by your firm .

there has to be some pictures that can be posted when the show is over..dying to see the new models..can NOT wait..
 
I'm excited too!

The SpydeRench is part of my current EDC, but I would love to see what else Sal and company can come up with. There are a lot of great multi-tools on the market, but no one has yet combined what I consider to be the best features of all of them into a single design. Spyderco would be the folks to do that.

I hope the new one will have wire cutters. I'm also exicited to see what this new design is going to look like. :D

Edit: If there is going to be a new design that is.

Check out this thread. Sal and a few other Spyderco reps show new models and such to some of the fans in a little sit down in the Netherlands. Luckily Ted will be taking pictures, he does an awesome job.
 
Hi Guys. No brand new tools in the works for Spyderco. We're still trying to get the "old" tool back in production. Then we'll consider several new designs we're working on.

"Giving up" is not something I've been known to do.
