New Spyderco or fake

Greeting..i recently saw on the online autcions this small spyderco knife,very small blue aluminum handle, with a thick, chubby blade about 2 inches long, tear drop finger hole..bladesteel 154 cm...is this a real knife or a fake, if its real what's the model name or number?

Sounds like it could be something out of the byrd line due to the hole you described but its kind of hard to say with out pictures.

It is fake. Those have been popping up quite frequently.

That sounds like a fake. Spyderco does not have any small knives in 154CM. No Spyderco knives I know of have a comet hole, they are round.

It's definitely fake.

If it's a tear drop shaped hole it would signify to be one of the Byrd knives. The problem is no Byrd knife carries 154CM steel.

There is one up for auction with a pic of the box it comes in. An image of the knife with an outdoorsy backdrop emblazoned with the words, "Stainless Steel." It is truly sad to see bidding on these.

They have been popping up a lot recently they are all fakes. I have reported a bunch.
