You got to love Spyderco they are always pushing the envelope check out the Spyderco Memory and Valluton , also the really cool looking Techno.

I really like the Polished G-10 on the Valluton. Makes me want to take some sandpaper to a tenacious...

When you get right down to it, the prototypes *are* customs. They are hand-made by the skilled craftsmen at Spyderco before the tooling is made for mass production. ;)

And I do like the looks of that Vallotton.
 
I just caught Sal reading this thread. A manufacturer that actually hears what we say....how it should be.

Butch Vallotin was the first maker to use thumbstuds as the opening method and the stop pin. Hi did so at least 15 years ago that I remember. Many have used thumb studs as stop pins since. I thought it was a good idea to give him the credit for his innovation so I asked him to include that feature on this knife along with the opening hole.
