New spyderco resilience

OMG the resilience is a pocket machete ! Here's a pic next to my SOG flash 2 (I thought it was big) I really like the action on the resilience a lot! It's not razor sharp but I'll sharpen it. I have small hands even the flash is somewhat uncomfortable to hold...I hope the tenacious gets here this week :)

The Resilience is a stout blade that is true! Feels good in the hand, and rides in the front pocket of a pair of Levis better than one would think. :) It's a beast!

Got that right it is a beast !!! Fits alright in my 5.11 tactical pants (everyday work atire)
 
I carry a resilience whenever it's cool enough out that I can keep my wallet and phone in my leather jacket pockets and the resilience in my jeans pocket along with my keys. It carries comfortably in a front pocket but can be a bit tough to maneuver around for anything larger than keys.

Mine came shaving sharp, but with a bit of an uneven grind at the tip. Will even it out as I sharpen it.
 
its a beast of a folder i carry mine quite often in the front pocket!

It's very interesting to see a ball bearing on top of the liner lock. At first it looked like a chunk of metal until i got out a magnifier.
 
Checkout Stefanwolf Resilience cardboard test on YT. It's a beast indeed! No worries about the steel, unless you're a heavy user. For daily EDC task, I simply strop it (still factory) and it is still shave.

Note: except for EL08 that's too obtuse, I dry shave with all my EDC (entry level steels, 8Cr13MoV and variants)
 
I bought the Resiliance to complete the "Tenacious Family". I've carried it several times, like I do ALL my knives, but it is a big honking blade! I would hesitate to carry it on a day that I was going to be at a client's office. If they get nervious when I pull out a Delica or Sage, they would be down right round eyed if I whipped out the Resiliance!
