Just picked up my first Spyderco, (Endura 4 / plain edge ) and man, it's a big one. Like the thickness of the blade though I have to admit after owning a lot of assisted openers this one will take some getting used to.

Overall I'm pleased with the way it looks and feels. Once I get it home and spend some time on my Sharpmaker we'll see how she cuts.

Good choice, I have the delica version like yours but smaller. A really good cutter. Congrats

Be advised that those things shrink. ;)

In a week, it will be a normal size, and whatever you were used to will be tiny. :D

Congrats. i have 4 Endura 4s. I love em! You will get used to the non AO knife and come to realize that you never really needed AO in the first place. Thats what happened to me.

So far so good. A few minutes with the white rods on my Sharpmaker and she seems pretty much good to go. Can't quite chop paper but she push cuts and shaves fine. We'll see how she holds up as my EDC for the next week or so.

He's right. I thought my E4 was huge when I got it. It became normal, and my Delica became tiny.

The Endura is the perfect size - not too big, not too small; I love it.

Oh..and another one (user) is on it's way ;) Enjoy yours my friend! :)

The Endura was a quantum leap over the original Worker. It was the knife that built Spyderco in my opinion. Well, the Delica helped. ;)

Nice score :) As noted above, you will get used to it soon enough.

If your looking for alot of blade in a slightly smaller package, check out the FRN Stretch too. Gotta have a back-up right? :)

I recently acquired a G-10 Endura. Love it! I'm impressed with how well it carries for a larger knife. I love the heft of the G-10 and flat ground blade. I'm happy I bought it.
