'Cause I think you are going to hear the call of the JD Smith! ;) :D

I actually had one 2-3 years ago, but at that time it was just too big of a folder for me. Seeing as how I opened the package with my Military- things have changed! lol!

This is one of the sharpest knives I've ever received and it's going to be my new fishing companion. I can't wait to use it. Got to say that ankersons cutting videos of this knife helped drive me over the edge. Enough blah blah blah...a couple more pics...

The wicked blade...

Nice score. I really like that blade shape.

Looks to carry very slim. Is that a correct assessment?

I was just thinking how slim it is to me now and how huge it was to me 2 years ago!

Much slimmer and narrower than my para 2 and military.

Thanks. It's all about perspective. Everything feels small and skinny after I carry my Bedlam.

That says a lot because my para 2 rides fairly slim, at least for having the big ole hole in it.

Very nice! I had one too when they first came out, I sorta miss it. I really like the overall shape of the Smith.

That's a beauty! I am, however, in the midst of a full blown love affair with my reground pacific salt! Meh, give me a week and im sure I'll realize I need one! ;)

Forgive the bump from the depths folks- just wanted to share some thoughts and pics on this cool, cool blade.

In the kitchen, this is better than my regular kitchen knives. The blade thins out so much towards the tip and is a slicing machine! Excuse the poor pics...but you get the idea...

Had piles of card board boxes and wanted to see how it would do. Not quite as good as my Military or Rat 1....but those things go through cardboard like butter.

And a couple of comparison pics...at least these photos are a bit better!

I'm still real happy with this knife. Nice to have some variety to choose from and this is just a long slicing machine and carries slim. Wish I got it earlier in fishing season- but I just ordered a fly rod, so maybe there is still a little time to bring something home. I hope! :D

How does that work in a forward grip? Can you comfortably choke up? Can't quite tell if that's a functional "choil" or not. I would hope so, otherwise it seems like a big waste of space that could have an edge. What's your experience?

You can get up on it- it's a rather...unique ;), design shape that I remember a number of folks didn't care for. I've used it like that very little, I feel in excellent control with the handle. It's a very nimble blade that handles well.

Be interesting to see this design with another locking mechanism though..something faster. 'Cause this knife is nasty too!
