I usually plan my purchases pretty carefully in advance....
....but sometimes it is necessary to pull the trigger when a rare opportunity presents itself.

Peter,

Good to see you at Blade, and glad I got a chance to peek at this one while you were carrying it around. It's really something special. Congratulations again!

Peter,

It was nice seeing you at the show.

Congratulations on picking up a super knife. All of the makers did a great job.

Peter that is a lovely knife! Great steel. It was great seeing you, and I am sorry for my dumb moment. ;)

It was a pleasure to watch things unfold over the weekend. Congratulations, I know it's in good hands. Lin

Peter, enjoyed watching you snag that at the ABS auction. I am so glad we didn't drop it passing it around the back row. You have an awesome piece there.

Peter, it was great to see you as always. I am with Lin on this one, the bowie is in very good hands. I had a really nice time talking with you and I will get you the pictures we took.
Best regards

Peter - For a while there you were into some furious bidding for that one. I'm glad you got it. Very special piece of work. Clearly those of us in the room thought so too.

Heck, I'm just glad I didn't spill any stir fry on that sucker, while we were eating lunch. :D

Gorgeous knife, BTW. ;) :)

Here is a clock stopping image! (Particularly the guy in the Hawaiian shirt)

So, you needed the bowie and its makers to fend off the sharks after the auction? ;) :D

Super picture, Peter. I was glad to see you end up with that great piece.
