New Steels

I know that Benchmade came out with a new steel this year for production (S90V), what would you guys think about possibly putting the Adamas together in a forum sprint run with CPM-3V or Vanadis-4E?

Actually, the thing about Benchmade is their tilt towards being conservative. Despite how many years 154CM and S30V have been around, they're (and now M4, M390, and good old D2) still the most popular choices. I would love to see CPM-3V (don't know the other steel) but would not hold my breath, On the other hand, it's exciting to see them put S90V to use on the new 940-1. There's probably going to be an increase in both LifeSharp visits and Edge Pro sales with the hardness of that steel.

yep, I haven't ever used LifeSharp and sure don't plan on it either, but I can't wait to get hold of this steel, love a good challenge

Under the New Policies these little (couple hundred) LE runs are a thing of the past, w/ 800 to 1000 minimums.

and I hope they come out with some griptillians with different steels also, I love my M4, but variety IS the spice of life
