I can't even spell style correctly, Jeez!!

While I was writing this reply I misspelled style in the first sentence. I'll stop typing before I get totally screwed up.

I think I have a text file on the full history of that charming pakistan but I think they are so horrible that I do not even want to remember where I put that history and this it'll prolly be a waste of my tie digging for it. Xp

and that celluliod lady's butterfly knives.. jeesss.. those went for sale for liek 300.00 once and Gollnick says some schmuck ACTUALLY bought a few.

The story is, that the Frost Company bought a German Knife making company, and moved it to Pakinstan about 12 to 15 years ago. Back in the very beginning, the Pakinstan knives were pretty crude and basic. That is when they were making the Butterfly knife. At the time, their biggest competition was butterfly knives made in Japan. You could very easily get a very good Japan butterfly knife back then, for $15 go $20 retail. So there was not much of a market for the Paki's. Also, when they were new, they were very stiff, and it took a bit of effort to get them to move smoothly. Then customs would not let butterfly knives in for a short while. James Taylor took then to court, so that even when the ban was lifted, no one was bringing in butterfly knives from Japan, or Pakinstan anymore. That was when they started to bring them in from Taiwan and China. The Taiwan butterfly knives out on the market today, are pretty much the same as what they were 12 years ago. The China made butterflys, have improved quite a bit in the last 12 years. Thanks, JohnR7
