Went to a store that specializes in batteries for a new battery for my truck and found this on the shelf. I love these little lights as a backup around my neck. So thought of part of the price going to a good cause was even better.

That's a cool little light. I really like the new bright and small led lights that are coming out. I recently picked up one of the e gear pico lights and it's really handy and bright, while being tiny and unnoticed until it's needed

Yeah, it was the little egear lights I got first. I also like that the egear lights have the battery packs that are easier to work with and that they make a titanium version. Where I'm puzzled is that I accidently shined this one in the wife's eyes the other night and she says it's brighter. I don't get that unless the egear lights use smaller batteries or weaker bulbs. Now I have no choice but to buy a new one or a new battery pack for one of the old ones and "accidentally" shine it in her eyes one night too :)

I like both lights being shown right now, thanks you two.

Bryan

Hey Bryan, can't speak for the streamlight yet, just got it, but the egear lights are really cool. The batteries don't last a really long time with constant use but it did take a month of pretty regular use before I had to replace Lisa's batteries. I've had mine out in the rain, and had it in the shower every night for five months with no problems at all from water. They are really bright for such a small light, really a handy little backup light.

Had to go back after another battery and noticed the stream light display on the wall this time...before it was jut a single light on the counter...and saw they had a blue one also with proceeds going to Concerns Of Police Survivors. I thought it a worthwhile cause and my wife's favorite color is blue so it was a win win.

They are as far as I can tell a little brighter than the eco lights. I'll have to put new batteries in each at the same time to really test that theory though. They are pretty bright, these pics were taken at the same time with no adjustments to the camera or editing other than cropping.

So now there are two so far for families of police officers and fireman, I hope they do one for The Wounded Warrior Project.

These things are really handy and so light I could wear three or four of them around my neck and hardly notice them.

I was really impressed with the new FourSevens AAA light released at ShotShow last week. It is barely larger than the battery, weighs almost nothing, and is regulated. I think they are $24. Might be worth checking out. One issue though, the end does not have a hook or hole, it has a magnet.

I just looked it up. It is the Preon 0. And it does have a split ring to wear on a necklace.

Thanks for that. I just looked it up and I like the looks of that. I think I'm going to have to drive down to going gear and check one out. I need to talk to Marshal anyway. My only issue with the small stream lights is that there is on and off only, so they have a low battery time. I like the specs on this one for 1 AAA battery, and I like that it is water proof to IPX-8 looks great for around the neck use.
