Why the 420HC to begin with? I mean, I know that Paul pulls every possible nanometer of performance out of it, but, for $180.00...

Of course, I have to throw in that I hope one of the different steels might be a non-stainless steel. O-1 or 52100 would be superb, but even 1080 would be great!

I know, don't hold my breath. ;)

We went with the 420 High Carbon higher corrosion resistance and its overall toughness with digging and prying. Its easier to sharpen in the field and with Paul's heat treat it holds an edge better than many of our competitors higher end steels.

Also, these knives are big and have a lot of steel. With 420 High Carbon we can build a rock solid knife that will be affordable to the tax payers.

These knives offer a great platform for us to offer different variations. I will be pushing some runs with different finishes and steels in limited quantity. I will keep you posted.

They are designed as field knives/ access tools. More like the traditional Strider fixed blades that are so big in the SOCOM community.

These are really nice blades. Our production guys did a sweet job on them.

I think you will all be pleased if you are able to get one.

Hell ya.

Gib me a beadblasted or stonewashed one in 154cm or S30 and now we're talking.

The 420HC isn't bad... it's just... not the same.
