New Strider dagger, part of the concealable backup series. Afraid I forgot the model number, and as this baby is no longer in production, it isn't on the Strider website. Perhaps one of you Strider scholars could give this knife a name. Has never been used or carried. Blade is a shade under 3.5 inches, overall length is a shade over 7.5 inches. Desert tan paracord wrap. Righthanded Kydex sheath with Tek-Lok. Of the dozen-odd Striders I've owned, all but one brand new, this one is the most perfect. The blade has almost no blemishes of any kind. If you squint at it hard, maybe you'll see a tiny little something, but that's about it. Because the knife is factory new, the swedge is unsharpened, but it was clearly designed to quickly take an edge at the user's discretion. (Please check your local knife laws before sharpening the swedge.) The fact that it's no longer for sale by Strider, difficult to find, and in pristine condition make it an excellent collector's item as well as one of the most practical Striders for a user. $225. No trades. Price includes insured shipping with signature confirmation and Paypal fee. If you're interested, contact me at chesanow@optonline.net.

damn thats a nice as hell knife, that cord can be changed to a darker color right?

Yes, you can definitely change the paracord wrap to any color you wish. There are plenty of guys out there who can do the job for you if you're not inclined to do it yourself. In fact, if you send it to Mick Strider, I'm sure someone there would rewrap it for you for a reasonable fee.

Thank you, Ed. Yep, I'm going to be sorry to see her go. She's a real beaut--a small knife with big-knife impact. Great-looking, too.

Best, Neil

Very nice. What is the thickness on the blade? Steel type? Sorry, I am not very savy on Strider data but I think they look wicked. Very interested.

P.M. sent.

This dagger blade is made of S30V steel, the steel favored by Mick Strider for pretty much all his knives of recent vintage. The blade is about .20-inches thick. Even though it's one of the smallest fixed-blade Striders, it has the heft and punch of a much larger knife.

Best, Neil

Well I am still waiting for a few "deals" to go through so I'll have to pass this beauty on to the next in line. I'll check back later just incase but it will no doubt be gone. Thanks a bunch for giving me the first shot. :)
