Question:

I have a fixed blade Strider with a cord wrapped handle. It's been a "user" for a while and I recently took the cordwrapping off because it was getting a little nasty. Instead of re-wrapping it, I was thinking of getting someone to put some micarta or natural handle slabs on there, but I don't know where I would send it. I don't want to send it back to Strider, because their handle slabs are a little more aggressive than I would like. I like the blade, I would just like a more durable handle material. Anyway, I thought someone here might know a maker that would do that for me.

By the way, it's the MFS model knife (if that matters).

call the strider shop and ask for thier "gunner" grips on it. I've had very good business with the Strider Knives crew

okay... so no replies other than to send the knife back to strider--after i already commented in the original post that i don't like the strider grips. i guess i'll try posting this in another forum.

yeah, I suggested thier gunner grips, or have them make smooth grips for it, the gunners aren't agressive at all.

look up Ban on here, he does some amazing work
