New Striders!!

$650 for an SMF CC with Carbon Fiber? Yikes. They are god knives, but that is encroaching custom price tags. I'll pass.

yea i fully agree man, the price was already pretty crazy but $650 is just too much. I love striders, have one myself but they are way way too overpriced

The CF model is new. I have an aluminum model, the chevron is just an updated pattern. The stonewashed blade might be new as I've only seen tiger striped blades with flamed Ti, no full stonewash like the model in the pic.
 
I wouldn't mind a carbon fiber lego SnG, but I think carbon fiber is only made in the CC variant.

I don't think the pricing is that bad. Isn't a standard CC SMF $550? The integral handle/backspacer requires a thick chunk of carbon fiber.

Man... I'm defending the pricing on a $650 knife. Something is wrong with me. :rolleyes:

yea standard CC is $550, so is the GG but IMO are both are severely overpriced already (even tho I have an SMF GG haha!)
 
I'd pay that in a heartbeat if i could afford it, damn that's awesome!!!
 
That's a thick piece of CF they must be using, an I know it's not cheap, but $650? They don't make striders well enough for that
 
I love the look of the CF.
I think they should make an SnG and PT model as well though.
I also think they should get rid of the big lock bar cut out on the outside of the lock and put it on the inside. Make it easier to put in and pull out of the pocket.

yea i think sng's an pt's in CF would definitely sell well..damn i wish it wasnt so expensive i'd be all over that CF SMF!
