Robbie, I have some time off work so mostly I've been surfing the net, watching TV, playing with the new camera and sleeping. General Lazyness. lol

15 days left eh? I can't wait. Nope I wasn't able to decode your criptic message. Can you at least give us some hints? I'm sure some of it has to do with the Revolver but what and what else??

Yeah the knife is holding up nicely. I really have not used it much yet. Was planning on field testing it up in the mountains this spring. I'll get around to testing it in the kitchen in a few days. I have a slight cold right now, so I won't be doing much cooking till I get over it.

Luckally I have not been all lazy. I've been spending a lot of time with girls in the evenings. Sometimes with my sister and her room mates and sometimes with an old girl friend. It's been fun. Oh yeah, I refinished a knife a knife Monday. Twas quite fun.

I have had one for 29 years and for some reason, I just can't seem to get her to talk to me about handle material and thumbstuds, or even if she prefers SAT over manual ???:grumpy: , But they sure are neat sometimes to have around.:D

Glad you got a little time off, but sorry to hear you don't feel well, rest up and keep one handy to look at (a knife) :p and you will perk up in no time.

New pig Hunter, you win the de-code prize, a box of my old cotton socks, specially designed for polishing the blueing off of knife blades. (no need to wash them, the dirt on them acts as an abrasive) :D

Carl, thanks. I'm starting to feel a bit better. Should be over this in a couple of days. :) I've only know a few girls that were into knives. Both of which I went to college with. One was married but the other wasn't. Now I'm wishing that I had made the moves on the single one. lol

I've been wearing the Magnadot around today and noticed that it's blade looks like a shorter version of the Seal Revolvers blade. Way cool.:cool: I sure hope SOG keeps making these folders. They sure are nice. Friday I'll be in Salt Lake City and will probably be wearing it Horazontaly in the small of my back, "Just in case".;) :D

Carl, have fun at the SHOT SHOW. Wish I could make it. But will probably be back slaving for the Post Office that weekend. lol

Carl, You are one lucky guy, you will get to see all the new stuff from SOG. Make sure you tell Spencer who you are and about all the fun we have on these forums. Also, make sure you look at the SOG Revolver, play with it a while, you won't believe it. There are some major changes this year, one I am sure you will really like, :rolleyes: .
Tell him about your meat fights with the SOGs, he will get a kick out of that. I wanted to go but can't make it because of a leg problem. Enjoy yourself.

Hey Y'all,

I've been trying to weasel into the shot show for a few years, but a local toy knut figured out the secret de-coding to sneak in so this is the year of the SHOT !!!

The spousal unit will be going, but that's only because two other married pals will be there..... so we boys decided the girls can "attend" the shot show as long as we don't have to drag 'em along..... and they agreed to those pre-SHOTnup terms and conditions.

As for Spencer, I sure hope he regularly reads everything here at The Forum and reads all these pearls of wisdom you guys keep sending forth.
But he's not the one I'm worried about.... I hope Loretta is there !! She's the voice on the phone, and the e-mail communicator, that keeps SOG running smoothly up there in that frozen white snowland.

So Spencer, if you're reading this, one of your most "visible" Public Relations experts is Loretta.... provide her the option to enjoy the SHOT Show on the SOG dime and meet many of the folks with whom she may have spoken and e-mailed (certainly me among that happy throng).

Carl, you have fun at the SHOT SHOW. Check out the SOG table;) and while your at it why don't you stop by the Busse table too? I like Busse knives but not as much as SOG. Sog makes a lot more knives that I like. Speaking of which, SOG pics coming soon.:D
