Hi to all,
I'm Walter from Germany (but I'm Italian).
I received very good stuff from Machetespecialist a couple of weeks ago. A bunch of Imacasa (Liniero 18", Rozador 18", Tres Canales 18", Rula 24 and Pata de cuche 28") and a Hansa Yegua Tres Canales 24". All of them needed to be touched up and were totally dull. So I had to put a good edge on them. When I got my work finished, they all were properly sharpened except for the Imacasa 18" Tres Canales. I tried and tried but I haven't been able to get it sharp. Well, it's the first time something like that happened to me: I've sharpened lots of machetes, knives and even swords (katanas, Pinutis, Naginatas, Europeans swords...) and I never had such a problem. It seems like there must always be...a first time...:D
Anyway, I was very impressed with the Hansa Yegua, a real beast capable of great cutting. All of the other Imacasas did a great job as well (really loved the Liniero!!) and kept their sharpness after different kind of cuttings. Thanks, Cam!

I would be interested in some Gavilan/Incolma machetes, do you know guys where you can get them? I couldn't find any source... What are the differences between Gavilans and Imacasas? Are they the same quality?
Thanks in advance,
Walter
(and please... forgive my not "mother-tongued" English :D)
