Damasteel blades and Amboina handles....Photos by Steve Korn

VERY cool. I love the burl block on the lanyard too. Never seen anything like that.

Thank you!...

Are you saying that Amboyna is Padouk?.....did not know that...??? The small block is something I put on all my knives with handlescales...I ussually match the woods....I have made one in Damasteel once for a naked Sheepsfoot.

The knives I can take credit for...but not the photos...that´s Steve Korn...He is quit handy with a camera!

.... As you might have guessed I LOVE small sharp things.......The top one...My Sheepsfoot is a regular model for me...but the Claw is abit different..I have made quit a few without scales...nice necker....I have also made 1 with real thin CF scales...this one was the first to have real contoured handle and that really gave it alot of personality....I had a real hard time parting with that one....I did´nt even have time to take a picture of it and forgot about it.. Then a few weeks back I remembered and had the owner shoot a couple of pics for me...And what a joy to see it again...Now I need to make one for myself... :

I drilled a few handles today using the same material...Amboyna....man it smells good!...Like good tobako...and I don´t even smoke

Jens,

I'm going to start saving TODAY for one of your knives. They are right up there with a big Randall on my wish list.

Jens,
Nice as always. It's really pain to look those knives you make and have to wait for mine to be ready...

Be carefull guys, they say that knives from Denmark (and especially knives from Jens) carry a dangerous moneyeating virus called theKnifeNutVirus . I know what I'm talking about, been infected with it two years ago and eats my money since :D

My girlfriend bought me one of Jen's knives for Christmas. The wait is killing me, especially after seeing these photos. Great knives!

Matthew
