New style blade shape.....for me

This is a profiled and hollow ground knife that is a custom order. I guess this blade shape would be considered a trailing point. I really like this shape for a hunting knife. This is different from my usual blade shapes. He wanted a hollow grind but I would prefer a convex for myself. What do you think?

That's a real nice pattern Scott!!
I think it screams for a hollow grind.
Looks like a good all around hunter with lots of belly for skinning and plenty of point for business. Stout bugger too!

Looks like you've got the hollow grinding thing down pat now. I'd say thats a good choice for that peice, especially the way you made the grind follow the curve of the edge. Ought to make for a real fine point.
