I just received my first Boker- the Subclaw. Smaller than I thought it would be, and heavier, also. Fit and finish are good, as is lockup and action. I haven't cut any thing w/it yet, but it is very sharp. The only thing I dislike are the plastic thumbstuds.

I think this one will live IWB for a while, while I get used to it.

Who else has one? What do you like about it? Dislike?

I will post a review in a week or so detailing how I carried it, what I cut, etc.
Thanks for reading.

Grats on your new blade! There is a good review in the practical/tactical subforum about how to use the subclaw in an SD situation. Pretty thorough and concise review IMO. You may check it out.

That review was the whole reason I bought one. I wanted something small for cutting boxes and that could also serve for SD.

ive got one. its a great little blade, but that steel is horrible. i get microchips on the edge after cutting just about anything.

I just got one a week ago. Its a lot of knife in a small package. Its great when I can't carry a bigger blade.

Remember this re hook-blades. They don't slice, they shear. For that reason, they need to be sharper'n a bastid. I carry a Subclaw, and it's very good in this regard.
If you want it for multi-purpose, get more than one.
