New surface grinder

Shrek,

You ought to be ashamed for teasing us like this. Man, I would love to have one of those grinders and all the neat attachments.

Good on you my friend.

Robert

I just saw a video of that the other day on his website. Too cool if it works the way it should!

Oh it works. I have been out in the shop for the past hour playing with it. It is going to completely change the way I do things.

Nice Erik! I got a surface grinder this summer and as I'm sure you're already finding out, I wonder how I ever got by without one.

I'd love to have a review of it. Have you used a surface grinder in the past? I have room for a surface grinder and funds for one soon. Trying to decide what to do. All I know is I need something!
Honestly, this is almost a request for you to sell me on Travis's attachment!

The REALLY slick part about that attachment is the "sine block" setup. So tell me, Mr. Fritz. Where do you Montana boys get all of this spare cash for $12,000 air hammers, $6500 rolling mills and presses and $5000 belt grinders? Are you all working for the Zetas and cooking meth up in the hills?:D j/k but some of you guys have the absolute coolest toys!!!!

Joe this was the first new piece of equipment i bought. I used a grizzly for 3 years and then a friend gave me an old wilton square wheel. the tw-90 i got last year and it was the first variable speed grinder i ever used. and now i got the surface attachment. as far as air hammers i wish the only guy i know that has one is Ed caffrey. I still use a 50 lb little giant.

Bryan, order the surface attachment you need it. I will write a review in a few days after i have ground some more.

Congratulations on the new equipment. I'm envious, I want a 6x18ish hydraulic surface grinder, and I'd definitely take a TW90. Have fun.

I'z just messin wif ya. LOL. Have you tapered any blades or tangs with the TW 90 yet? Is the surface grinding attachment precise enough for folder work?
