After reading a bunch of reviews, and having the chance to buy one at 40% off, I got one. It's really, really nice. Looks like it will give my Bravo 1 a run for it's money. Here is more info on the knife:

The Blackwater Grizzly is currently in use by Naval Special Warfare cadre and is designed specifically for Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape training. Custom serrations at the base of the blade flow through bone or branch. Made to be hammered, abused, and stressed to tis limits, the blade will stay razor sharp though extended use, requiring only minor strop. The ergonomic American G10 laminate handle scales with "Bear Paw" grip conceal a cavity for fire starter, fishhooks, and other survival gear. The hollow handle gives the knife a forward balance point that makes cutting, chopping, and hacking less fatiguing.

The 6" sword-grind blade is machined from German Uddeholm Niolox niobium-enhanced stainless tool steel tempered to a Rockwell hardness index of 59. The ultimate combination of cutting tooth, strength and durability. The knife also features unique jimping on the spine and a striker / bone cracker / pry bar on the pommel.

The Blackwater GRIZZLY comes in a black, MOLLE-compatible Cordura sheath with an extra storage compartment.

LionSteel appears to have an excellent reputation. Not exactly my cup of tea but looks like it could be a tough knife in difficult circumstances.

We'll, I don't like to overstay my welcome! Hahahahahahahahaha....I love to read all the posts, but I only post when I feel I can truly educate someone, or assist someone, or add something of value.

By the way, I forgot to add, that in a reverse "fighting" type grip, the knife feels fantastic. Regular grip is great, too...

I promise to post again...........before 2020.
