Posted up some new training dates at http://www.jungletraining.com/

We will be doing one jungle survival class this year in Peru in October.

Also, we have a stateside Woodlands Operations Course (5 days of tracking, survival, some shooting, etc.) that will be running in September. Class will be in Ft Payne, Alabama. If you want more details then email lead instructor Jimmy Dunn at woodsrat409@aol.com

Sweet. Ft Payne is like an hour from my house! Inquiry sent.
Thanks for the info Jeff.

Well it's little bit further than an hour away from me but I'm definitely interested as well!

email sent!

Jeff --

I'd love to do one of these courses, but need a little more lead time to build it into my schedule. Do you have any idea when a course might be available in '10 or '11. ('12 is obviously out since the world will be ending; I'd like to squeeze the course in before that happens :D.)

No dates set for 2010 yet but I'm sure there will be something going on that year.

Hopefully I'll be able to attend at least the Stateside course in 2010. I'd love to do the SA one as well, but both will depend on my school schedule. Gotsta get me edumacation.

Yes please let us know when the 2010 classes, stateside and foreign will be. I just need more heads up to do it.

And yes it has to be before 2012. Hollywood says so, they even made a movie about it. It has to be real:D:foot:

Its not me its the cold medicine talking.

I can't wait to get started on my first RAT survival course. I'm trying to decide if I want to do the state-side or jungle course, however.
Any suggestions?

To be honest with you, the September class is about overloaded. I didn't realize we would have some many people wanting to do this.

Jimmy and I are working on 2010 dates for another domestic class. Should have something on them later this year. Lot of LE in this first one.

Me too. I talked to Jimmy Dunn about it, but I just don't have to cash right now. I'm way too strapped thanks to the crappy state of the motorcycle biz right now. I wish I could go though. This sounds awesome.

A fantasy of mine is to take a survival course like this. Since money and opportunities for me to take sure a course right now are limited, I thought I'd settle for something survival-esque--like total-body cold-water immersion in a Canadian winter (http://www.polarbeardip.ca/)!

But seriously, I figured it'd be good preparation for a not-impossible wilderness emergency/survival/egress type situation.

Matt

2010 sounds like a great plan! maybe a state side class with many of the members of the forum?
