I recently picked up this custom Hairy Carry and had forum member DavidE hook me up with the sweet kydex sheath. I proceeded to attempt my first pouch style sheath for it shortly after receiving it. It's only the third sheath I've attempted and the smallest by far. I'm very pleased with the fit and retention. The finish could use some improvement. Gotta try something other than black next time. Love to hear some constructive criticism from the more skilled/experienced leatherbenders out there.

Looks pretty good to me for your third attempt, you've obviously got some talent.

I might try to slim it down a little, since it's for such a small knife. But you probably could only do that if you went to a totally different retention (like a strap.)

I just ordered a Hairy Carry too -- who makes a sheath for it? I'd love to get one!

BTW, how do you like your HC? It's my first Swamp Rat, so I'm pretty excited.

Love the HC. It's scary sharp. A great slicer. Not sure if the spec-ops would work for you as the combat master sheath would be a bit large. You can ask David or others here to fit you a kydex sheath for it. There also may be guys here who already have some kydex made up to fit your knife. Not sure how to best post the contact info for a member but maybe this will help you.
