Talonite, Black Canvas Micarta, Nicklesilver. Mortised tang. 1/8"x 3 7/8" blade, 8" oa. bead blast handle. Feels good, cuts great! Opinions?

Love that style/shape of the blade ! And the handle compliments the blade very well !

Very nice indeed !

I like the overall shape of the knife, and I very much like the blade shape. I prefer handles that do not have finger grooves and would like this knife more if it did not have them. That is totally personal and I realize that there will be many that like this style better.

My critisism aside, I still like this knife alot. Great job.

the only thing i would change is the blade/handle length ratio.
i would make the blade a wee bit longer than it is now, BUT, it looks great!

I like it! I've been looking for a "lake" knife -- a general-purpose, do-everything fixed-blade that I don't have to worry about. I've been eyeing the BM100 River Rescue, but this is a lot more appealing.

Thanks! That is just the kind of feedback I need. I spend so much time looking at the knife while making it that I can't get a good first impression myself. I have enough Talonite to make 2 more. I'll use this one at camp to get some field testing time on it, then make the others.
