I picked up some 3/16 Coyote Brown G-10. I figured it was a little thick so the pattern look would thin it out just a bit.

This particular pattern makes for incredible retention (even though it looks like they are made of peanut brittle :p)

Thanks for looking

Hey Guys, thanks! Glad you like the scales....

@Lycosa & AR_Shorty: I made the scales myself from 3/16 Coyote Brown G-10, so i guess that would make me the "Pimper" Lol

Looks awesome! I was considering making a set for my 7V and now I just may do it after seeing yours. Good work!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the kind words.

@Droppoint, Go for it! If i can be of any assistance, don't hesitate to email.... They are definitely more art than science and there is definitely a way to go about making these.

So I've been EDC'ing it for the last week and i have to say..... the feel and ergos have changed quite a bit. It only looks thicker but doesn't feel bulky once in the pocket and feels great in the hand. If i can find some 1/8" Coyote Brown I'll try the same scales but a bit thinner. Guys, Feel free to PM or email if you are making some and have a question.

Awesome work!! Would you mind taking the time to tel me the basic process and tools i would need to do this?

Nice work. I had my Horseman switched to thicker flat tan scales, and the change in feeling is huge. I was lukewarm to the Horseman when I first go it, but now with the extra "girth" I love it.
