I've always wanted to get some ink reflecting both cultures that resulted in me. I'm Spanish from my mother and Danish/European from my father. This tat is for my Danish ancestry, a Viking warrior. My Spanish tat will be on my left arm as a Conquistador. I want to capture the warrior spirit of both heratiges. Both would come to new lands and conquor with overwhelming force. As a one time warrior myself, these tats are almost like a strength totem for me. I also have my Combat Infantry Badge (CIB) inked.

Eventually, I'd like to get a Viking woman with the warrior. My wife is Swedish and German/Redskin.

Cool, I have finnish, swedish and norwegian in my blood, I'd like a viking tat someday. Really cool though, I like the CIB tatoo as well.

The tat looks better than I was expecting when I read the title, when you said blade related, I was betting you got a waved knife or something. The viking looks good, pretty beastly looking, but there's something about that "mini-skirt" that once you notice it you can't take him half as serious :p. JK post up some pics when you get the conquistador, you might be able to find some pics of Cortes or another famous one.
