New Tenacious

I got an email from BladeHQ about the new Spydercos coming out & this Tenacious looks really nice. D2 steel which I'm not normally excited about but if anyone is going to do it right, it's Spyderco. Titanium Disarray with a RIL. Very attractive knife to say the least. I don't own many (maybe one or two) of their Chinese made products but this one I will be getting. Anyone else excited about this?

I was excited until I saw the price. I bet it's the best D2 ever but it's still an import for a list price over two hundred bones. D2 with ti is just too hard a sell for me when I can get their M4 for less. They need to pair their S35VN or M4 with the ti handle at that price to really sell these in any numbers.

EDIT TO ADD: I see they are retailing in the one sixties and seventies which is better but I still think it a bit steep.

I got the titanium blue frame lock 8cr version and it's a great knife, with a discount code. kinda too pricey at map.

this one aint doing much for me. d2 isn't my favorite steel. I actually prefer the 8cr. scales are cool though.....
