New Terry Sisco Sheaths

Hopefully Pen will be here soon after to post pics.

Here are 2 sheaths I just got from Terry. They are for my Pen Knife khuk and my 12" AK Villager.

They have covers made of some hemp canvas I sent him.

The Pen Knife has the sheaths for the chakma and Karda in the frog. The AK has them all on the sheath. Both have tinder pouches.

I had planned to put the flint/Magnesium firestarter in the tinder pouches but with the frog on it is too tight to get anything but maybe a book of matches in. Still good to have the extra storage.

I left the knives that came with it on the AK, but on the Pen Knife I had Terry replace them with a Runt steel blade from Texas Knifemakers Supply and a diamod rod. He did an awesome job and now the little Pen Knife has really usable tools.

As you can see from my not so good pix he did a great job. Sorry but it was raining and dark when I took these.

Yup...Terry is one heck of a Sarki! We need some poor low casts here that would be happy to learn the trade in exchange for rice...
 
I really like those scabbards and frogs. I also really like what was done with the small tools. That re-mounted diamond rod idea is extrmeley cool.
 
I like those a lot!! Nice job and thanks for sharing. If you don't mind me asking what was the turn around time on the project?

I understood Terry was busy and I can see why...doing quality work like that.

Thats some really nice work. I like the new handles quite a bit. Makes the tools look a little mountainman'ish. lol

Maybe a little over a month? Last sheath (quickdraw) was about 2 mo. Worth the wait.

Wildmannh,

The handles are stock. Just the Karda and Chakma have new handles.
 
These look even nicer in person. The fit is just incredible, Terry does great work. Thanks Jim, that's one MORE thing that I can't live without :p :D .

Rice? RICE?!?!? T-Bone don't work for no RICE!!!! T-Bone works for HAM!!!!:rolleyes: :p

:-) That's why we need to send some young bucks to him that *will* eat rice in exchange for becoming Sarkis...
