I was watching the Fikes Knives Blade Testing video and was inspired to make the knife and the video. Thanks Jimmy for the inspiration!

This knife is freaking solid, until I see the spine then I realized how sick that tip looks!! Nice vid, Daniel :thumbup:
 
Dude I loved that blade when I first saw it, and I love it even more now. What are we doing for handle material? Some sick ctek, krypto? Or classy black g10?
 
Dude, you're going to need a forearm mirkin if you make anymore cut test videos.

Let there be no doubt of the careful thought and execution that obviously goes into each one of your blades. It's one thing to look good but to be so tough while doing it, well I guess that's why I own a couple of your blades and am really excited to add more. Come on damascus kiridashis!

Thanks! The tip is inspired by the old Katanas, the ridge line ends shortly before the tip and from the spine view it looks like a harpoon.

I'm debating between a few materials and think the handle will be dark, just not sure what yet.

lmao! That one view makes me look really hairy after I shave my arm. we were cracking up... my forearm is half bald now

Thanks too, in the hands of more experienced cutter it might actually be impressive. :D It took a beating!

Beard? That was some dude I hired.

I had all three cats there, it was out of control. The two in the video are half nuts too...

No flat land, lol it is an illusion! My shop is on the flattest spot and it drops 3' over 20'. The mountain you can see from my shop door had a ski hill on the other side and my mountain is just the same.

Losing the hair on your arms is know as "Honers Mange" its rampant among sasquatch. Severe cases also spread to the lower legs, and in the worst cases to the face! I have seen some so bad that it has actually spread to others, but that's rare that someone actually gets that close to a sasquatch.

Cool! I'm sure you can see the Shobu Zukuri influence in this blade. I can't even come up with this stuff, it is 900 years old. Old school...

Dude it is kind of bad, if I go to town I'm wearing long sleeves! I usually use the legs but you know... bad honers mange.
