New thickness for FSH?

This new KC FSH variant is described as 0.27". The CG FSH were 0.25" with full height grind (slight convex). The Heavy Heart was 0.27", but sabre. HOG versions are over .30", right?

So, has the shop done these in 0.27" flat grind before, or is this new?

Its not new....THe 2008 Se was a flat ground .270 HH.

A real gem:)

Agreed. IMHO, the HH name should be reserved for that BCS limited run variant. But as Busse adds versions off the same blade profile, we tend to use existing model names to describe them. The Meaner Street and Leaner Meaner Street used to be clear cut, now with all the variants, it's hard to know what to call some of the newer ones. :rolleyes:

I'm not sure if the 08 SE's are considered HH or not:confused: I'm like you though, and kinda feel only the Sabers should be called that???

And for those in between Meaners...I just call mine Tweeners:p
 
I ordered a few .270" thick FSHs with a full height grind about 2 years ago...
As well as a few .270" thick full height ground FBMs. :cool:

I guess all the .270" thick full height ground FSHs & FBMs are a by-product of my custom order.
I'm still waiting for mine. :(
But I'm sure one day Garth will bring it!. :p


And I agree... the only Heavy Hearts are the saber ground from the Stinkster. :thumbup:

So, should we call it the "Super FSH"!!! Yea the differernt model does get confusing at times. I kept scratching my head on the Meaner IDs. Hope the Boss chimes in or Garth for a responce.
