I just finished up a small group of Titanium Backpackers... check 'em out!

It weighs almost nothing and will never rust.

~3/32" Thick

Chisel Grind - Right hand dominant with back bevel for versatility and ease of sharpening... I have Left hand grinds available too! :D

Titanium construction with carbide edge.

Stonewashed Finish

Chamfered edges and rounded spine for comfort.

6al4v Titanium with 72 RC Tungsten Carbide Edge - excels with abrasive materials such as cardboard, very aggressive with meat, vegetables, cloth, cord, softer materials, etc...

They come with a custom Kydex sheath. The sheath has removable hardware for flexibility and ease of cleaning. The sheath is pocket, necker, static cord and tek-lok compatible.

Sheath Example - multi position teklok compatible with removable hardware - made from lightweight and slim .060" kydex

You can wrap them with paracord! It makes for a really light and comfortable handle plus it's fun to have any color knife you want.

Thanks! The store makes it easier all around... easier for me to ship and for you guys to buy from. I take credit/debit cards along with Paypal.

Much appreciated!

These look Great! I'm saving my cash for your pocket fighters though...

They look like practical knives, but I'm not familiar with the carbide edges. How do they hold up to stroppimg/sharpening?

:D I just answered several email requests for them, I'm slowly getting closer to the run!

Thanks!

The carbide excels on softer objects as mentioned but is tough enough to stand up to harder use. If you stick to softer objects and cardboard, etc... the blade will slowly wear as the harder carbide stays in place and "self sharpens."

For sharpening just about any setup will do as Ti is easy to bring to an edge. A burr is relatively quick to build up but takes a little longer to remove so keep the burr on the smaller side. I recommend a leather strop.

The edge is aggressive and will plow through meat or cardboard like it isn't there! The carbide edge feels like a mini hacksaw... very aggressive.

This^ should have sold the OP. :)

I have sold almost 100 of them this year and am very happy with the feedback I am getting. I don't try to put the hard sale on things and find myself with more repeat customers than new ones. :) The key is to sell things that you would buy more of after using.

Thanks for the informative answer. I ordered one from the storefront, and splurged on the one with pretty colors to match my tie-dyed brain:) I'm looking forward to feeling the difference in cutting that the carbide gives. I like the shape of the knife, the built-in bottle opener/shackle wrench. The shape reminds me of my Army issue mess-kit knife. The aluminum would not hold an edge for crap, but it got really sharp, and was very useful. Your comment: "The key is to sell things that you would buy more of after using" sold me. Well, that, and Lycosa has one; can't fall too far behind him.

Thanks, Broh^ but I am WAY behind. :D
Enjoy your DFK when you get it. You will.

Much appreciated!

How are the 3V ones coming along?
Nothing much yet... I'm going to spend a day here soon doing heat treat on D2 and 3V, they both need a sub-zero cycle to complete my heat treat so have taken a bit longer than I had hoped for... any day now though! Once they are heat treated I only have a few days to go on them.

I have two 3v ones in the works... I also have had a different version in the plans for later.

Damn! Got all excited when I saw this title pop up in my unread posts queue!

Just a big props to my homie DFK, 100 of a single style of blade sold says worlds about the maker! Go get 'em Daniel!

Much appreciated! My goal was to sell 100 of these and 100 of another model this year... I am almost there on the Keychain Tools too!

Thanks again to everyone for the support and kind words. It sounds like these are getting used a bunch which is always a goal.

Looks like he still has a couple available in his store.

I sure do! I only have a few left in Stonewashed and Heat Colored.

I also have the one-off pictured above (with a bit more polished edge now) as well as some in left hand grind.
