Here is one my buddy is working on. This is his first folder. He has been making fixed blades for years though. I think this is going to be one of his main models he is going to make.

Here is a new flipper model my buddy is working on. I stopped by his shop and got to play a little with it. Its a WIP keep in mind and the lock hasn't been fitted. S35vn blade on bearings with a zirc backspacer. He has just started making folders, but his FB work is amazing and the finished flipper will be as well. Whay yall think?

Update with finished blades and makers mark.

Here are some pics I took tonight. It's getting close now. The frame has been slightly ressessed on the non locking side to get a better purchase on the lock when closing. Handle blasted and the holes chamfered. Hardware has been blasted and polished. Blade heat treated, lockbar fitted.

Just need to add detent ball and do some finishing. This thing is amazing. Lockup is tight.

I like it. Except for the clip.

hehe, I like the first clip.. I don't like mokuTi... on a knife...

BUT that knife looks sweet! Kind of a mix though of 3 knives.... won't mention names.. I think this one is unique enough though.. I'd be down for one :D

Shut up Rolf! :D

Throw a M390 or CTS-XHP blade on it with whatever pocket clip (I like both) and I'll take 2!

Yea. The regular ones will have a Custom clip out of regular Titanium not mokuTi.

I personally would love to see 3v or s90v ;). I don't think he is against using different steels. Keep in mind though that some of the higher end steels are hard to get sometimes.

I understand that...and I'm patient :D S90V would be better of the two you stated. I've had 3V folders and as my edc...they sucked. They needed sharpening everytime I turned around. When I switched to S90v on the same knife...that problem went away. I never could figure that one out, given the material I was cutting and the work I was doing with the knife.

The floating backspacer is a nice touch as well. The option of an anodized frame wouldn't hurt either.

He just got some s90v from the blade show. And yes anodized frame has been discussed.

I really like this, how are the fit and finish? Ergos? Lock up?

Any idea what kind of price he's planning on charging for the base model? Feel free to pm me if he doesn't want specifics posted publicly yet.

I would probably like to get one if the price isn't too crazy.

The fit and finish is very good. The blade grinds are amazing and lockup is like a rock. He's using a bearing system in the pivot so it is a smooth opener. As for price. I'll just say trust me. It's a very good deal. I'll send you an email.
