New Ti-locks FYI

Did anyone else notice that the new version of the Ti-lock has stonewashed handles vs the original dark sandblasted handles? I'd been procrastinating on getting the Ti-lock but now that the new stonewashed V2 is out I decided to move fast and pick up a V1. It took some searching but I did find an online seller with a few left! Maybe the stonewashed handles are just the current flavor and they'll make more sandblasted but I didn't want to take the chance!
 
I don't think that's particularly new. I have seen them with both finshes for a while now.
 
I asked Chris about the change in finish when I met him earlier in the year. The sand blasting was apparently tricky around the polished "rail" for the lock. It sounded like that stonewash finish the way it is going to stay. I'm pleased I got a sand blasted version as I much prefer it (and it matches my plane jane Sebenzas).

That's what I was afraid of. Glad I got sandblasted too...
 
I think both finishes look nice, i actually think it would be cool if they tried that with a sebenza, maybe offer it as an option.
