New TI military stiff opening/close Sticky lock

Just recently got a brand new titanium military and while i love the knife its very hard and stiff to close and a sticky lock. This is the newer version with steel insert. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with theres? Ive tried fooling with the pivot and also oiled it. Have also opened and closes it a bunch to try and break it in. Still pretty stiff. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Knife experts wil probably cringe, but I put a drop of Nano (or Tuff-Glide) on the lock end or tang, and open and close a couple of times. Nano leaves a very thin coat. It works for my stickiness. Stiffness is another issue.
 
Have the same problem. Posted it on the Spyderco website forum. Seems inherent to the design and the friction between the soft Ti and the steel of the blade . Second gen Militaries have a steel insert in place. Not much can be done, sadly.
 
I have had mine for a few months and it is still sticky after many different types of oils and lubes nothing really helps except loosening the pivot.
