New Ti Pivot Screw Dilemma

I have three of the new Ti pivot screws and they all have a sharp little spur on the end. See pic. (Sorry no technical term for it). So the problem is when I caress my hinderers it scratches my delicate hands. Any ideas how to fix it without ruining the anodizing? Anyone else have the same issue with theirs?

I have the same thing on mine. It's not an issue because I don't caress my knives and I never noticed before until you said this. The burr is what is left over from the cutoff tool in the lathe. There are probably 50 or more pivots made from one piece of round titanium stock and then the pivots fall into a bin. Once the bar of stock is ran the pivots are collected from the bin, cleaned, anodized then boxed and sent to us. I don't no any of this for sure though, anyway there is nothing you can do without messing up the anodizing IMHO. Happy Thanksgiving!:)

Sometimes when I end up with a little burr like this on a scale screw or whatever, I give it a couple soft taps with a brass hammer. Usually flattens out the burr just fine so you can't snag in it. And it doesn't mar.

But very lightly, no need to whack on the thing. ;)
