That's way beyond awesome! I'm very impressed in your attention to details. This project is very well thought out.

Extreme Addiction
Very cool design and steel frame lock insert.

How do you insert detent ball into the steel frame lock insert?

Do you heatreat this frame lock insert?

There is no reason to heat treat it , it will outlast any ti frame lock, D2 has very good wear resistance plus large contact surface .
even if it will wears out its easy to replace .

Slick design! Nicely executed a little big for my liking but well made. Any chance in the future for something a little smaller?

I am thinking about something smaller , but thing is it was designed to fully fill your hand and smaller version may feel awkward , I have to do some tests.
