If I can make a suggestion: Since you already have the Grip, maybe try something entirely different. I don't have the large Grip (just the small) and neither any of the Freek's, but I imagine both the Freek's and Grip's fulfill the same role. Try the Bugout, or save for awhile and get one of BM's premium models. But then again, I don't have any problems spending other people's money either,I just received a griptillian for father's day. It is my first benchmade but not my last. The bugout or the mini freek or maybe the full-size freek will be next
I'm really looking at the bugout. I think the thin profile would be excellent to carry when maybe eating out or shopping. I also like a small thinner knife at church. Don't want anyone distracted by a larger knife in my pocket when I'm preaching. Right now it's a skyline or a dividend, but I am loving the bud of the grip and the axis lock it is perfect for me because of my hands shaking from seizures. Not to mention that with the blue scales, the knife is much more family friendly.I'm really looking at the bugout.
