Hows it going guys This is my first time posting anything on Blade forums. I have recently purchased and RC6 and it is great! I have yet to go out and really get the full use out of it but I am Planning a short camping trip soon. More or less I just wanted to post something to see how all this works.

I would also like to get a custom Kydex sheath for my RC6 in the future if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. the only sheath makers I have really looked in to are redhill sheaths and martin sheaths.

If anyone has anything to say about RC6, I would love to hear about it.

Welome! You picked a great place to post! There are a lot of knowledgeable people here. Hoopster does sheaths and Shotgunner. Although shotgunner had some technical difficulties last I checked. He may be good to go now though.

Welcome to BF , and the Esee forum !

I purchased a 6 a couple of weeks ago. Haven't taken it into the bush, but some work in the yard proved what a great knife it is. It is a lot bigger than I thought for a 6" blade, yet handles and balances perfect ! It's going to make a great bush knife.
You're going to get more than one Esee. I pretty much guarantee it. The 6 is a great starting point for a bigger knife. I also have 3 - #4's that are my favorite size ( That's why I bought 3 :D), You will find Esee knives exceptional products, backed by great people. Enjoy your stay here !!

I really like the sheath Martin Swinkels made for my RC6. Kydex wrapped in leather makes a great combo!

I would love to get a sheath from Martin Swinkels for my RC6, I live in the states though and I am not sure how getting a sheath from him works, I really don't want to send my knife away over seas.

and hiwa you are definitely right, after getting this one I can't wait for another ESEE knife

I also live in the states & did not have to send my knife to him - he already has one on hand to use as a model. The whole process was a piece of cake actually. My suggestion would be for you to reach out to Martin & let him explain the process.

Every man should have a sidekick like the esee-6, good choice! Great all around knife especially for scouting around the woods and you don't want to bring a bunch of different tools.
