Hi my names Chris I live up in the interior of B.C. . I'm 35 work at a Casino and live to Eat lol. I just started these last few months looking at knives mainly for camping and outdoor carry and for my kitchen since I recently snapped my Santoku. I remembered a video I saw long ago where a knife maker in a test had to bend his knife to a 90 degree angle.I googled the video and re-watched it, the guy in the video was Bob Kramer so I checked out his site and signed signed up for the lottery. But since that could take years to get picked I'm just slowly looking for something that suits me and my budget. I've also been looking around at Hunting/survival/combat knives and wanted something of good quality that would last me a lifetime but also feel and have that look that I like. I wanted something fixed blade minimum 1.5" blade depth and over 6" inches in blade length and 1\4" thick. I ordered a Blackheart Knife and Tool Juggernaut. From the first time I saw it I knew I had to have it. But the problem with knives that there are so many others that also catch your eye and after looking around I think i would like more than just one knife I've been admiring the works of Medford Knife and tool - Sea Wolf, James Behring - McMillan, Jerry Hossom, Busse Combat Knife Company - Battle Mistress, Topps Brown tracker Not because of the hunted but because it looks badass and that saw looks pretty fun to chew threw things. Also a Walter Brend Model 2 reminds me of a real type Rambo knife not the 12.95 one i bought when I was 13 and it snapped in weeks, but is way way out of my budget. I currently own a few knives my first was handed down to me and is a USMC Ka-Bar, I own couple of folders CRKT M16 Tanto, SOG Flash Tanto and a Leatherman Super Tool 200. I'm open to any comments or suggestions on anything I've mentioned and just hope to learn from some longtime collectors, makers and lovers of knives.

Hey man welcome to the forum, glad to have you here. Have you looked into Kabars Becker line? For Example the Kabar BK7 or BK10, they are made from 1095 Cro-Van steel, takes an edge real quick and holds it well. I own a few BK's and lemme tell you, they are absolute tanks. Definitely heavy users and wont break the bank ($60-$89) And again, welcome, you'll enjoy the BladeForums community.

Heres a BK14 I got in the mail yesterday, a good EDC knife
