Just wanted to say hello and let you know my new small Sebenza arrived yesterday! Like the title says I am new to this forum and Chris Reeves Knives. I got it through a CRK dealer on eBay. I got a 15% credit and an additional $10 from PayPal / Bill Me Later that made it a deal I couldn't pass up.
 
Good way to start, a small sebenza was my first too! I have owned over 20 now....... Hope you are prepared!

Small Sebenza 21 was my first CRK. Its the only knife that I have kept for the last three years I have had it. So confirmed about it, I had CRK put my initials on it.

It's common for sebenza owners to post pics of their sebenzas in action and in the wild (basically outdoors).
 
Welcome to BF and CRK's. The small is a great size I carry one everyday and back it up with a Zaan or a large, sort of like the small dog says "If you can get by me my big buddy is waiting for you". :-) So when are getting a large? :-) I am sure you will find this a great place to hang out and learn lots about CRK's I know I do. And so many nice people always ready to help.

OK - Whatever on the addiction! Evidently I am addicted...

Some firsts:
1) I tested my knife - arm hair and paper naturally
2) Took pics of my knife at rest and in at work (staged)
3) Figured out I can't post pics on here until I get an online thing like photobucket....
4) My first official use: (and I swear it was not planned) I cut the seal on a bottle of Jack Daniel's (and figured out my next pic)
5) Ordered accessories (clip insert, lanyard stuff, etc.)
6) Stropped it

For the record the knife came with a very sharp edge. (I have read that is not always the case.)

Congrats and way to start out here with a CRK in one of the most classy forums around.
Mmmm. If I was not such a wimp. Id have some JD myself. Good for you. I open beers with my CRK, so I hear ya!

Congrats on the most perfect knife you will probably ever own. They are useful, beautiful and addicting. Some may not understand your infatuation, but we do. That is why we are here. Haha. :)

Finally got a picture posted! I will try and get some more creative ones. (What is the largest size pic I can post? I couldn't find it on the FAQs...)

I also received my clip insert today; had to file/emery one end to get it to fit. It looked like there was a tang used as part of the manufacturing process that was not ground down all the way.

Also received my calfskin sheathe and some paracord to start messing with lanyards.
