I have always admired my father's Pathfinder. He's had it since the 1960's maybe even earlier (did they make those back then?). I wanted a 110 for my collection so I bought one and also got a 119. Now I'm hooked. Great products and made here in the good ole USA. Gotta love that!

Spec, Welcome to the Buck forum . Your 105 was made back then (1961) .
There was a 105 made prior to that time but the blade shape is a little different and the handle utilizes stacked lucite disc . If yours has a handle of black phenolic it could be from the early 60's . Look on the butt end of the pommel if there is a circle there its from 1961 . If no circle there but is stamped Buck (just one word) look on the side of the pommel to see if there is a visible pin going thru the pommel . If so, your 105 could be from 1962-66 .
Depending on the spacer material in the finger guard . Describe that . What color . DM

The problem with that 110 and 119 is that they're going to wear out on you after just 25 or 30 years of hard use. ;-)

Thanks for the welcome Fritz! Buck Fever...I like that! The cure is more Bucks :D

Yeah, there is no cure, you can only treat the symptoms... and indeed that is the aquisition of more Bucks:thumbup::eek::D It's not a bad sickness-is it?

It's kinda like taking an aspirin, but it sure helps to keep updated on the goings on here on the bucks Forums--You gain a lot of honest knowledge and make some good friends. By the way welcome aboard.
