Hey guys I am looking for a new pocketable fixed blade edc. So far I've been looking at the strider db, chris reeve professional solider, the Izula. Now I'm looking at Busse. So far the Sar-3 and the Game Warden have caught my eye. But i have some questions:

When Busse says "double cut" what does that refer to/ mean?
How corrosion resistant is INFI steel? Would it have to be oiled everyday?
Are the sar-3 and game warden pocketable?
Do they come convexed standard?
Last what would would you carry in your pocket to landscape all day? The sar-3 or game warden? ( 12 hour days/ 6 days a week, cutting burlap, digging up roots, practicing throwing at trees:) )

Thanks!

Double Cut is bead blasted with 2 different media. INFI does not need to be oiled daily but it is not stainless. Yes. No, my Game Wardens were/are all V-Ground. i've never owned a SAR-3 so I'll let someone else answer.
Welcome aboard. :)

I've had INFI rust before, but it was on a stripped FFBM and it got into the dimples, but it was a light surface coat that came off with Gunzilla.

Both are great blades, but the SAR 3 is nice because it just feels "stouter" than the standard GW (but there are some fattes around). But that is my impression.

I have seen videos of the SAR 3 being a decent thrower by the way ;).

Also, I've batoned with my SAR 3 before and it held up nicely, and both are pocketable. The GW is a great knife, but I'd go for the SAR 3.

INFI will certainly rust. I have had two Busses clearly show rust, the most obvious being an early model Basic used for yard clearing. Wet and sappy wood (and a hot day) meant the blade had very obvious rust streaks on it after it sat for a few hours. INFI may resist oxidation significantly more than basic carbon steels, but it is nowhere near stainless for rust resistance in my experience.

With what you suggest that you might be using it for, you might want to add the Active Duty to your short list of consideration. Still small enough to be worn in the pocket, but a great all around knife.

The AD (Active Duty) is the bottom knife. This particular one is jungle green coated with green linen micarta, but there's many different versions of it.:

Oops! meant to add... If this isn't what you want, then for your tasks, I'd suggest rolling with a SAR-3. :)
