Howdy folks,
Just had my first Busse delivered this afternoon, thought I'd share some pics. My new user SAR3 that has been sharpened by the previous owner to quite a sharp edge. Also picked up a tasty bottle of scotch, and had my first Swamp Rat delivered a few days ago, too. Nice few days there. I'd like to thank you people for keeping a good record of useful info on the forums, it's been very valuable to this new guy :D
I can see how this gets to be a nasty habit, but I think that with the lure of who knows how many new knives coming up soon, I'd be wise to hold my own until the new stuff is released. Here are the pics

sick blades!- your off to a good start. Both of those are such handy blades. I love my SAR3. Now that the world hasn't ended today, you can enjoy a drink and your new knives! Congratulations!!

Congrats. That is a good week in anyone's book...

Welcome to the madness...:D

Very nice stuff there.
Should we welcome you or tell you to run now.
Just kidding.
Wecome to the madness of Busse.

A fine start. At the very least, you seem to be highly resistant to the more virulent form of the addiction -- and that's good!!

BTW, how is that single malt? Haven't tried it yet and have been wondering ...

Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to whatever Busse or Bussekin picks me next.

Welcome nice pics, a hog and a rat good start now you need a big knife. :D
Yeah, I'll be saving up and keeping my eyes open for what comes after the Blade show. Never know when a big ol chopper will come in handy.

It's tasty, and relatively inexpensive considering the spectra of single malts. Been a fan of the Glenmorangie aged in wine barrels series for some time, but this is the first taste of the Quinta Ruban. Very mellow, almost a caramel overtone. Not a lot of peat, so if you like the liquid smoke then this one's probably not for you. I'd recommend it otherwise.

Looks like I'll have to pick it up. While I do have my "iodine" and my "peaty" periods, I'm not averse to a more mellow dram. Thanks for the info!
