I've known Andre DuMouchel for almost 23 years.
About a year ago I got my first Busse knife, a Mean Street, as a gift from my good friend Mike Erler. Promptly got bitten by the Busse Bug, and the hungry blade itself. Perhaps that is how I was infected......
Since I am currently renting property from Andre, I get to see more Busse Knives at one time than most of you will see in a lifetime----hold them, fondle them, caress them, sleep with them (these I have to rent for the night, and the price is never too dear, since we are old friends), and rub them ALL over my body. [OUCH!!]
I recently purchased from Andre a great knife called an Aftershock, #83, the number of the year my first-born son was born----great kid, great knife! I had intended to take this knife with me to my grave, but my son says he would go dig it up, so I guess I will leave it to him instead and take the Mean Street instead.................nah, the boy is a two-fisted fighter and has use for both.............besides, my original plan was to be cremated and have the ashes dumped into the mud wrestling pit at the Sturgis run, which sounds like much more fun.
