Just wanted to stop in and say hey. I've been a fixed blade guy for quite some time. Saw a few custom Buck 110s for the first time recently and fell in love. Just won my first one on eBay and it should be here soon. I feel a new obsession starting!

I was also wondering if anyone could recommend some good custom open top sheaths for these? I was also curious how many folks EDC customs or do you just leave them on display?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, editing. Oops. Too much excitement. Just bought my 2nd. Whole crap, two in one day. Time to take a breath and walk away from the computer.

Now come on guys, do you EDC your customs? Sheath makers?

Ok, here are some of my favorite sheaths for the 110's. As far as EDCing my customs, that depends on the custom. I have a few that I will carry, but then, I don't even really use them when they are carried. They are on me more to show them off than to use.

If I was back in my working days and really used a knife on the job, I doubt that I would carry one of them, I'd stick to a 110 from Walmart so I wouldn't wet myself everytime I put a smudge or ding on it.

These are production sheaths made by Dale Pack Station in Oregon.

Here's one of the customs that I do carry alot when I just feel like carrying a 110.

110's are what I think the perfect knife for me. I've explored other options (not all) but I keep going back to the standard 110.

I figured it was time to finally order a custom for my EDC carry, spent a bit of time on buck's custom online shop and came up with this combo, ordered two, should be here in another 2 weeks or so:

They'll be my EDC and put up to anything I come across. Sure they cost more the my standard 110's, but hey, they look badass and how I want them to.

My KOA BG-42 rests comfortably in a sheath from Jack Rudder. It gets a lot of use.
