hey guys, im new to emerson knives. i have many folders (spydies, benchmade, and cold steel) but i dont own any emersons. i ve heard great stuff about them. so that being said. Heres what im looking for, im looking for a edc, g10, 3 to 3 1/2 inch blade. with the emerson wave of course. most likely ill be buying used ( probably from one of you guys !!!! ;) ) price point under 100$ shipped. suggestions? i like the mini a-100 but it doesnt have the wave feature ( right? )

not sure you will get one for under 100$.. maybe a mini CQC7 or something beatten up
Just keep an eye on the exchange I guess to see what comes up

You would benefit from browsing the threads in the forum that contain pictures of the knives or browse the Emerson website and click on the links that take you to the section on knives, the specs are all there. As far as under $100, probably not going to happen. Most are around $140-$200 range.

that description fits pretty much every Emerson knife except for the price you expect to pay, as has already been stated above. But really whichever Emerson catches your eye, you can't go wrong. I have a CQC 8, CQC 15, and gentleman Jim and they are all great knives that get EDCed all the time. Good luck finding one under $100 tho.
 
A like new CQC-7 just sold here for $100. While I was staring at it, someone else grabbed it. :) You can get them elsewhere NIB for $139 shipped if you keep your eyeballs open.


Edit: and a lightly used mini Commander went for $100 as well. So you are in the ballpark at $100, though you have to be fast.

I think the 7s go for quite reasonable prices, by and large. And are quite easily found on the aftermarket for even more reasonable sums. But expect to spend around $150, generally speaking. More for other models.
